Restaurants
There are many restaurants within 10 minutes of walk from the Hilton hotel. From the Hilton hotel, walk along the 20th St. S uphill toward the south for four blocks. (See map). If you like seafood, try The Fish Market ($$) at Southside. (10 min. walk from the hotel. See map) How about Indian food at Sitar($$) (10 minutes walk. See map.) Birmingham has many excellent microbreweries. They are not far from UAB (the nearest one about 20 min walk) but Uber or Lyft may be helpful. (Walking after dark is not recommended.)
