  • There will be plenty of opportunity and place for discussions in smaller groups. If participants so prefer, the Round Table on Monday can be replaced by discussions in smaller groups. These discussions can take place around the meeting room or in the offices to which some of you may want to be assigned.

  • On each of the two conference days we will provide for the conference participants a continental breakfast, food and beverages during the morning and the afternoon break, and lunch sandwiches, fruit salad and other goodies, all at the meeting site. Unscheduled visitors are welcome to partake if there is any food left (which there usually is).

  • IMPORTANT: On Tuesday evening at 6:30pm, after the Round Table, we are hosting a dinner at the restaurant El Torito which is within walking distance of UCSD and of the Residence Inn. We invite conference participants and summer visitors of the organizers; accompanying persons (including children) are welcome, the more the merrier, but you will have to pay for them (approximate price including tax and tip: around $25 per person). Also, we can not pay for alcoholic beverages. If you are a conference participant or a summer visitor and you do NOT plan to attend, please let us know right away so we may have an accurate count. Similarly, let us know if you plan to bring any accompanying guests.
