Installing Latex

For Windows, install MikTeX

For Max, install MacTeX

For Linux, install texlive included in your Linux ditribution.

Installing TeXStudio

For all platforms, TeXStudio is a good integrsted writing environment.

Installing RevTeX 4.1

RevTeX is not a part of standard LaTeX distribution. Usually, Linux distribution includes RevTeX. Just install it from Linux Software Manager. MikTeX will install RevTeX when you try to use it for the first time. I expect MacTeX does the same. If you cannot install RevTeX, please consult with the instructor.
